Methodology
BonusFinder.com gathered a list of more than 300 casinos and collected data on how many people mentioned the venue in a hashtag. We then refined the top three most-used hashtags and did our calculations based on that.
For example, to calculate the overall number of hashtags for Mandalay Bay we used the top three hashtags – mandalaybay (634,521), mandalaybayhotel (10,389) and mandalaybaylasvegas (8,522), resulting in the overall number of hashtags being the top three added up which equals 653,432 .
Additionally, when calculating the hashtags we made sure to differentiate between casinos that share the same name by specifying the location (either the city or the state) in the hashtag.
